III. Asking about degree in Chinese with 多 (duō)

1. Conversation

A:大卫今年多大?
[dà wèi jīn nián duō dà ?] How old is David?

B:二十多岁。
[èr shí duō suì 。] Above 20 years old.

A:他多高?
[tā duō gāo ?] How tall is he?

B:一米八几。
[yī mǐ bā jǐ ] He is more than 180 centimeters tall.

A:你怎么知道这么多啊?
[nǐ zěn me zhī dào zhè me duō a ?] How come you know so much about him?

B:他是我同学。
[tā shì wǒ tóng xué 。] He is my classmate.
